Accounts & Services

Q: When will Erie Metro FCU become Financial Trust FCU?
A: The merger will occur September 30, 2019. On this date, both Erie Metro and Financial Trust locations will be closed. We will resume business as normal and Erie Metro members can begin using any of the Financial Trust locations (and vis versa for current Financial Trust members) on October 1, 2019.

Q: Will I be able to access my accounts during the conversion?
A: ATM/Debit cards will continue to work. However, online account access will temporarily be down and resume on 10/1/19.

Q: Will the branch hours change?
A: No. All branches will continue with their regular hours (see below). Hours will change in the future with advance notice.

Blasdell Office:
Mon.-Wed: 9am-4pm , Thurs.-Fri: 9am-5pm

ECMC Office:
Mon.-Fri: 9am-4pm

Cheektowaga, Grand Island, Orchard Park, West Seneca Offices:
Mon.-Wed: 9am-4pm , Thurs: 9am-4:30pm , Fri: 9am-5:30pm, Sat: 9am-12pm (Cheektowaga & West Seneca offices only)

Q: Will my account number change?
A: No.

Q: Will the routing number change?
A: Yes. Beginning 10/1/19 Erie Metro members will begin using the number: 222079835.

Q: Will I receive a final statement from Erie Metro?
A: Yes. Erie Metro will produce a final statement on 9/30/19.

Q: Will branch phone numbers change?
A: No. They will remain the same.

Q: Can I use my Erie Metro checks after the merger?
A: Yes.

Q: Who should I contact if I have questions about my account?

ATM/Debit/Credit Cards

Q: Can I continue to use my Erie Metro debit card after the merger?
A: No. As of 10/1/19, begin using your newly issued Financial Trust FCU debit card

Q: Can I continue to use my Erie Metro Credit Card?
A: Yes. Card conversion if any, will not take place until 2020.

Online/Mobile Banking

Q: How do I log into FTFCU online banking?
A: Simply visit At the top right-hand corner of the homepage, you will see a login. Enter your username (your current Erie Metro username) and password (the last four digits of your social security number).

Q: What will happen to my bill pay account?
A: It will remain the same.

Q: How do I download the FTFCU mobile app?
A: Visit the app store on your device. In the search bar, enter “Financial Trust FCU” (app icon will be our triangle logo). Click the app to install it. Login credentials will be the same as your online banking.

Direct Deposit

Q: Do I need to make any changes to my automatic payments or deposits?
A: All existing automatic payments and direct deposits will be unaffected. However, NEW automatic payments and direct deposits will require you to use the new routing number: 222079835. Automatic payments made using your DEBIT card, will require you to notify the companies with your new Financial Trust FCU debit card number.


Q: What will happen to my loans?
A: Your loan payment, terms and conditions will continue as-is. You should continue to make your loan payments just as you are currently doing.

Q: Where do I mail my loan payments after the merger?
A: Please continue mailing them to 3291 Lakeshore Road, Blasdell, NY 14219.

Q: Can I still view my loan and make a loan payment online?
A: Yes.

Q: My loan payment is automatically deducted from my account. Will that service still continue?
A: Yes.
