How does Financial Trust Federal Credit Union collect my personal information?
We collect your personal information, for example, when you
• open an account or give us your income information
• apply for financing or provide account information
• show us your driver's license
We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.

Can I limit sharing?
Federal law gives you the right to limit only:
Sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness.
Affiliates from using your information to market to you.
Sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you.
State law and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

Definitions

Affiliates: Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
Financial Trust Federal Credit Union has no affiliates.

Nonaffiliates: Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
Financial Trust Federal Credit Union does not share with our nonaffiliates so they can market to you.

Joint Marketing: A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
Our joint marketing partners include CUNA Mutual Group's MEMBERCONNECT.

Financial Trust Federal Credit Union Children’s Online Privacy Protection Notice

Financial Trust Federal Credit Union recognizes its responsibility to protect the privacy of our youngest members. Financial Trust is committed to protecting our young members and other visitors as they visit our website. It is the intent of The Credit Union to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) that governs and protects the privacy of our youngest members. We encourage parents to be involved with their child's online usage and to be aware of the activities in which they are participating.

The Credit Union may collect information on domain names, dates and times of visits and number of page views. This information contains no personal information. It will only be used to keep track of usage of our site and help Financial Trust Federal Credit Union continue to improve our overall website. Visitor information is never sold, given or discussed with third parties. We will not sell, give, or share young members’ personal information to/with any third party vendor or any other organization.

In the future, should Financial Trust Federal Credit Union decide to collect information from your child who is under 13 years old, we will request your authorization first, in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
